A healer should have these attributes to be effective:
  • Faith
  • Purity
  • Prayerful
  • Belief in God
  • Kind to animals
  • Holy & righteous
  • Humility, Peaceful
  • Love for self and others
  • Knowledge of Universal Laws
  • Knowledge of etheric and astral fields
  • Understanding of the healing effects of nature
  • Knowledge of  Magnetic energy , sound energy
  • A general scientific knowledge that explains healing
  • Understanding of the Power of Thought or the Thought World
  • Knowledge of the conscious, subconscious and super-conscious mind

There should be a strong desire to see others free from their pain; this desire should be so intense that it could bring tears to your eyes. A strong belief in God is necessary; one must understand that it is a higher power doing the work. You must have a peaceful spirit to communicate well to the consciousness of the sick person. If you are angry while ministering to the sick, the person’s condition could get worse. This is a scientific fact.
 
A healer should always be in a state of holiness and righteousness; this prepares the spirit to be used effectively by God. God is Infinite Power, Infinite Love; this awesome spirit cannot be narrowed down to human description. God communicates through prayers, as one prays with good intention and a clean spirit.

As a healer one should seek knowledge especially in the area of science. Many people will come with unbelief, nevertheless, if you could explain to them scientifically how healing works they will increase their faith based on the facts presented. This is God’s way of helping those who are weak in faith to understand healing. The sick individual’s faith is important, but the healer’s faith is crucial. The healer must believe in what he or she is doing. The energy of belief is very powerful and useful in healing, for this reason children or nonbelievers can be healed. There are many things that contribute to healing, however, when the sick individual and the healer are on one page, great miracles can happen due to the power of thought. For this reason the Bible states, “One can fall a thousand, two can fall ten thousand,” (Deuteronomy 32:30 KJV).

The basic understanding of magnetic energy and sound energy can be very useful. Sound is so important to healing that scientists have developed the sound bed. Your cells respond to sound. Yes! Various sounds can heal your body. For this reason listening to affirmations with the right sound frequency can improve your health.


Understanding the Power of Thought is crucial.To prepare as an effective healer you must guard your thoughts at all times, to maintain a peaceful spirit. Analyzing verses and quotes such as, “so as a man thinketh so is he” (Proverbs 23:7 KJV), “guard your thoughts it is your power center. What you cannot see is much greater and powerful than what you see” leads to the importance of thought.
 
As a healer you can bring together science and theology to complement each other. Knowledge of the etheric and astral body is important. The knowledge of the three levels of consciousness is worthwhile knowing. Knowledge is indeed power; take the opportunity and research as much as you can, you will be effective.

Sometimes the most powerful is the most simple. For years people did not believe that prayer from a holy person can change water molecules to bring healing to the body. Now it is scientifically proven. Thank God science and theology are now coming together to confirm what the Bible has been telling us all along.

Yes, from the spirit of God to the mind of man, many things are being revealed. Always remember your impossibility is God’s specialty.
